Focus on Introduction

(Make a handout for the following)

• What headings and subheadings goes into the introduction section?
• What content should go under each subheading?
• What should not go into the the introduction section?
• How many pages should the introduction be?
• What language and phrases are common in the introduction?
• What language and phrases are common in the justification?

Just show the first part of the handout above. Go over the sections with the students.

Setting up Peer Review for Tuesday
On Tuesday you need to come with four your newest version of your Literature Review. Because you will not have time to address every part of your literature review, you will need to do the following:

• Select 3-5 areas of concern where you would like feedback
• Highlight or circle that section (keep it to under two paragraphs for each section) and provide a number next to the section
• Write 1-3 questions that you would like your peers to consider for each section 
• Make sure that each of your copies has the same format so your peers can easily locate each area of concern
